By joining our CSA, you are pledging in advance to support the farm during the growing season. Members receive a bounty of produce as well as the satisfaction gained from reconnecting with the land. Members share in the risk-the possibility of poor harvest due to unfavorable weather or pests. Remember, a tomato can travel 1,500 miles from where it is grown to your salad bowl. By joining a CSA, your produce travels only as far as you do.
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture.” It eliminates the “middle man” because you are buying direct from the grower. Consumers get connected with the farm and the farm gets connected with the consumer.
